Yesterdaywas my first Radiotheropy treatment. I got rather emotional in the morning, couldn't stop crying :-(
My big Sis took me, along with my hubby and son Marcus, My sis waited in car as parking was rubbish :-/ Didn't wait too long to be called in and I asked if my partner and Marcus could come in to see me have my mask put on and a little chat, signing etc.....Then they waited outside for me. Laying there with my mask on and the sound of this machine going around my head, which sounded like a robot!! was very strange and very surreal.....just kept thinking of my Dad and how i couldn't believe this was happening! :-( It was like i could feel the beams going into my head....strange!!.....It didn't help me banging my head on my sista's car b4 treatment......which strangely enough my Dad did the same thing on his first day of treatment!!!! My Sista told me, as she took Dad to his appointments........When appointment had finished my head was still hurting, but we all went to see my sista's new house :-) well nice it was......got home after a few hours at hers, feeling well tired.....went for a very long nap!!........oh well, same again today...and for the next 6 weeks.
